Ravensworth - Yorkshire, England

Robert Grey and Laura St. Quentin, and their daughter Elizabeth Grey, lived at Ravensworth, this castle in Yorkshire, England, in the 1300s. (The second picture is from an old postcard.)
These Greys were descendants of John De Grey from Charlton in Somerset, and came from Norman Royalty from Piccardy in France, according to a biographical paper on the Greys. It says they claimed descent from Anchetill de Grey who took part in the Norman invasion of 1066.
